PUMPKIN: Low in fat, and calories, high in fiber and is a good source of Potassium & Beta Carotene. Pumpkins also contain Vitamin C & E. Pumpkin is also a good source for your dogs coat,and their digestive systems.
SWEET POTATOES:Are rich in Vitamin A & C, good in reducing "Radicals", which are chemicals that damage cells. Sweet Potatoes are a good source for Stomach ulcers & inflamed colons. They are also beneficial for diabetic Dogs to stabilize their Blood sugar levels.
CARROTS: These are a great source of Vitamin C, which is good for their vision, heart, skin and lungs. They are also rich in Beta-Carotene.
APPLES: An excellent source of pectin, a natural fiber good for removing toxins, and is beneficial for Diabetic Animals. Apples aid in calming the digestive tract in cats & dogs. Apples also aid in helping the body absorb calcium & iron from other foods ingested. They also contain Vitamin C.
CRANBERRIES: These are loaded with antioxidants, and good for urinary tract infections.
BANANAS: Add a natural acidophilus bacteria to the bowels, although in small quantities is better. Bananas have a good source of Potassium, which benefits the muscular system.
SUNFLOWER OIL: Is high in Vitamin E, and low in saturated fats.
CINNAMON: Soothes the Gastrointestinal tract. It is also used for Digestive upsets, indigestion, and diarrhea.
EGGS: Eggs contain protein, they are a good food for dogs with skin problems. They also contain high levels of calcium ( especially in the yolks) , Vitamin A, biotin, and essential fatty acids and Zinc.
HONEY:Improves energy levels, prevents bad bacteria in their digestive tract, good for their skin & fur. Not recommended for puppies (as their systems are not developed).
PARSLEY: Parsley is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, containing large quantities of Vitamin A, B, & C and minerals, calcium, iron, Parsley stimulates and improves digestion, and is also a breathe freshener. Parsley also prevents kidney stones, as it is a natural diarectic. Soothing, and can help relieve Arthritic Pain
MOLASSES: Is an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, iron, cooper, and contains Vitamins B & E.
CAROB: Carob is full of vitamin A, ( which is good for Vision), Vitamin B1 & B2 ( which helps growth). Carob is very rich in Calcium, phosphate, protein, potassium, iron.
MINT: Soothes a stomach, and nervous system. Mint can also help alleviate Nausea.
GARLIC: Supports Immune systems, and can prevent Fleas.
BARLEY FLOUR/FLAKES: Contains twice as much fatty acids as wheat. Barley contains copper, phosphorus and zinc. Rich in Fiber and has the ability to lower high blood cholesterol. Barley also contains Calcium & iron.
OATS: Are a good source of dietary fiber, and complex carbs. They contain Beta-Sitosterol, an anti-tumor compound. Oats have iron, zinc, protein, and B vitamins, B9, B5.
FLAX SEED MEAL: Contains Fiber, Lignans, which is an antioxidant, Alpha Linalenic Acid: which is a plant version of Omega 3 fatty acids.
